9. Surah At Tawbah

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

اشْتَرَوْاْ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ...   

7: 9.     The signs of Allah have they sold for a miserable price, and (many) have they hindered from His way:

...إِنَّهُمْ سَاء مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٩﴾

evil indeed are the deeds they have done.

Pickthall’s Version:

7: 9

Pickthall And as for those whose scale is light: those are they who lose their souls because they disbelieved Our revelations.

Transliteration Wa man khaffat mawa_zinhu_ fa ula_'ikal lazina khasiru_ anfusahum bima_ ka_nu_ bi a_ya_tina yazlimu_n(a).
