Sorcery and Magic exist Quran

2: 101, 102 ………some of those who were granted revelation aforetime cast the divine writ behind their backs as though unaware, and follow that which the evil ones used to

practice during Solomon’s reign – for it was not Solomon who denied the truth, but those evil ones denied it by teaching people sorcery -; and that which has come down through the two angels in Babylon, Harut anad Marut- although these two never taught it to anyone without first declaring, “We are but a temptation to evil: do not, then, deny truth!” And they learn from these two how to create discord between a man and his wife; but whereas they can harm none thereby save by God’s leave, they acquire a knowledge that only harms themselves and does not benefit them – although they know, indeed, that he who acquires this shall have no share in the good of the life to come. For vile indeed is that for which they have sole their own selves –had they but know it!

7: 103 And after those We sent Moses with Our messages unto Pharaoh..............and behold what happened in the end to those spreaders of corruption!

7:104 – 124 Pharaoh, sorcerers’ defeat

7:125 O our Sustainer! Shower us with patience in adversity, and make us die as men who have surrendered themselves unto Thee!” (the sorcerers praying after convertion)

10. Surah Yunus

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

قَالَ مُوسَى أَتقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءكُمْ أَسِحْرٌ هَـذَا...

10: 77.  Said Moses:

"Say ye (this) about the Truth when it hath (actually) reached you?

Is sorcery (like) this?

But sorcerers will not prosper."

C1462. Sorcery is the very opposite of Truth, being deception of plausible shows by the powers of evil. But these cannot succeed or last permanently, and Truth must ultimately prevail.

10: 81.  When they had their throw, Moses said:

C1464. When they threw their rods, the rods became snakes by a trick of sorcery, but Moses' miracles were greater than any tricks of sorcery, and had real Truth behind them.

"What ye have brought is sorcery:

Allah will surely make it of no effect:

for Allah prospereth not the work of those who make mischief.

Others version:
