[wayu tunnaz Zakata] rendering Purifying dues

2. Surah Al Baqarah

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

2: 210. Will they wait until Allah comes to them in canopies of clouds, with angels (in His train) and the question is (thus) settled?

But to Allah do all questions go back (for decision).

C231. If faith is wanting, all sorts of excuses are made to resist the appeal of Allah. They might and do say:

"Oh yes! we shall believe if Allah appears to us with His angels in His glory!"

In other words they want to settle the question in their way, and not in Allah's way.

That will not do. The decision in all questions belongs to Allah. If we are true to Him, we wait for His times and seasons, and do not expect Him to wait on ours.

Other Versions:

2: 110

Asad And be constant in prayer, and render the purifying dues; for, whatever good dues; for, whatever good deed you send ahead for your own selves, you shall find it with God: behold, God sees all that you do.

Pickthall Establish worship, and pay the poor due; and whatever of good ye send before (you) for your souls, ye will find it with Allah. Lo! Allah is Seer of what ye do.

9. Surah At Tawbah

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

9: 71.  The believers, men and women, are protectors, one of another:

-    they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil:

-    they observe regular prayers,
