26. [al-Furqan, Mecca 47]

إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً...

26: 103 Verily in this is a Sign,

...وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٠٣﴾

but most of them do not believe.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٠٤﴾

26: 104. And verily the Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful


Asad’s Version:


26:103


In all this, behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it]. (26: 104) But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 48

30. [sura ar-Rum, Mecca]

The Quranic Text & Ali’s Version:

بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ...

30:5. With the help of Allah.

... يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَاء...

He helps whom He will,

C3509. "Whom He will." As explained elsewhere, Allah's Will or Plan is not arbitrary: it is full of the highest wisdom. His Plan is formed in mercy, so as to safeguard the interests of all his creatures, against the selfish aggrandizement of any section of them. And He is able to carry out His Plan in full, and there is no power that can stop or delay His Plan.

... وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿٥﴾

and He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.

ذَلِكَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿٦﴾

32: 6. Such as He, the knower of all things, hidden and open, the Exalted (in power), the Merciful;

(32:6) Such is He who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind: 5 the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace,
