Sura -31 [Luqman mecca 57]
The Quranic Text & Ali’s version:
مَّا
خَلْقُكُمْ
وَلَا بَعْثُكُمْ
إِلَّا كَنَفْسٍ
وَاحِدَةٍ...
31:28. And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul:
C3617. Allah's greatness and infinitude are such that He can create and cherish not only a whole mass, but each individual soul, and He can follow its history and doings until the final Judgment.
This shows not only Allah's glory and Omniscience and Omnipotence: it also shows the value of each individual soul in His eyes, and lifts individual responsibility right up into relations with Him.
...إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ ﴿٢٨﴾
for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things).

(31:28) [For Him,] the creation of you all and the resurrection of you all is but like [the creation and resurrection of] a single soul: 26 for, verily, God is all-hearing, all-seeing.
Ma khalqukum wala baAAthukum illa kanafsin wahidatin inna Allaha sameeAAun baseerun

[For Him,] the creation of you all and the resurrection of you all is but like [the creation and resurrection of] a single soul: for, verily, God is all-hearing, all-seeing. |

Your creation and your raising (from the dead) are only as (the creation and the raising of) a single soul. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower. |

|
Neither your creation nor your raising is anything but as a single soul; surely Allah is Hearing, Seeing. |

|
And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul: for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things). |

|
Your creation and your Upraising are not but like that of a single soul. Truly, God is Hearing, Seeing. |

|
Creating and resurrecting all of you is just like creating and resurrecting a single soul. Truly, God hears all and observes all. |

|
Your creation and your rebirth [happen] only as with a single soul. God is Alert, Observant. |
||
|
You –people- must realize that your creation or the process of bringing you into being and the process of recreating you or bringing you back to life at Resurrection en mass entails no more than the creation of one single soul involves! Allah is Sami'un (Omnipresent with unlimited audition), and Bassirun (He keeps a vigilant eye upon the whole and upon all in all). |

Your creation and your resurrection is all as one breath. God is Hearer, Seer. |
